Affordable Payment Options for a Vasectomy Reversal in 2023

This article, updated by international vas reversal authority, author and microsurgeon Sheldon H. F. Marks, MD, highlights some of the payment options couples can use at ICVR’s http://snyderartdesign.com/author/admin/page/22/ full-time, vas reversal only center to make the procedure and experience more affordable.

We know that a correctly performed vas reversal is not cheap. For example, a single box of specialty microsutures now costs $1200, when it was less than $200 last year! The anesthetic numbing medications have tripled in cost in one year.

To help make a vasectomy reversal a reality here at ICVR, we offer a number of payment options to help our patients. These include in-house, Korwai no interest payment plans so we can give each patient the highest success rates with a state-of-the-art vasectomy reversal at an affordable price.

We will not cut corners with a discount or “quickie” vas reversal with lesser care, old, easier techniques, cheaper materials, no or minimal support staff and poorer results with reduced aftercare or borderline safeguards just to drop the price. We will not change our model of only one vas reversal a day and switch to the undesirable “factory” format of many vasectomy reversals in a day, where the doctor is under pressure to rush and move fast to get to the next surgeries or can be fatigued from earlier surgeries.

To do this we have a number of different options for couples to choose from:

1. We work with various financial institutions with programs to loan each patient the money for all or part of the vas reversal costs. We can suggest a few that we have worked with over many years that provide the best service.

2. We know that many couples do not qualify and so we offer a personalized, customized in-house, no-interest payment arrangement.

How does this payment plan work?
To get the details specific to each patient, please call and talk with Dawn, our Senior Patient Care Coordinator, at (888) 722-2929 .

To make the vas reversal more affordable and to cover all of the fixed costs of the surgical staff, microsutures, medications and supplies, we ask that every patient cover these up-front, out-of-pocket costs, and then arrange to pay off the balance over time.

We do not charge any interest but we do add a minimal handling fee every month to cover costs of the additional administrative time to collect and process the payments. Of course, there are no penalties or fees for early or higher payments or paying off the balance.

Unlike a bank or finance company, we are not offering this to make money off of our patients. This is solely a gesture of good will to help our patients afford a state-of-the-art vasectomy reversal here so that everyone can achieve their dream of having children after vasectomy, with a high reverse vasectomy success rate – up to 99.5% for a vas-to-vas connection here at ICVR (1).

Because there are a variety of different scenarios, different options may or may not be available.

To answer any questions or when ready to move forward, please call the office at (888) 722-2929 and our staff of senior professionals, Dr. Sheldon Marks and Dr. Peter Burrows can explain the specifics and answer any questions.

Our goal is to make our patients part of the ever growing family where we are “Making Men Dads AgainTM”.
