Amy Perkins is the new clinical supervisor for the Arizona Andrology Laboratory and Cryobank, a separate but integral division of the International Center for Vasectomy Reversal, and an important part of care for our vasectomy reversal patients. Whether you have questions regarding semen analysis, sperm counts, sperm freezing and storage, or environmental / medical impact on sperm counts, Amy is there for you. Having completed her B.S. in Reproductive Physiology and now finishing her masters in the same, Amy brings a strong foundation to the Arizona Andrology Laboratory and Cryobank. During the reversal, Amy reviews and analyzes the fluid from the vas, determining sperm count, quality, motility and forward progression. Amy then calls into her lab your wife or partner, to view what we are seeing on the monitor. You get to see the sperm as we do in the operating suite. Amy then gives a sperm class to your wife or partner, to help her better understand sperm anatomy and function. Amy allows us to offer to all patients, state-of-the-art banking services. We are very excited to have her on board.
